LongRanger you need to embed the link in the correct tags. The text in your post should look like this ...

Three ways:
Find the picture you want to link to in in Imgur. Move the cursor to the top right-hand corner of the photo. You'll se a down arrow. Point to it and you'll see four items: Edit image, Get share links, Download image, Delete image. Choose 'Get share links'. Then click on COPY next to "BBCode (Forums)" and paste that into your post.
Use the <Post a New Reply> screen of the Forum. Click the <insert picture> button which is the left-hand square on the line showing B I U and just paste the link into the box that appears. It will take care of inserting the tags in the same way Photobucket did.
Type the tags into your reply and paste the link between them. You need the square brackets.

I had the exact same bike as well. Bought it brand new when I worked at the Yamaha dealership ( same shop I still buy eveything from). It replaced my 57 Harley Panhead chopper lol. My wife and I toured 2 up on it . Oh to be young and skinny and tough again. My dad had the previous year 72 R5-c. THe RD had reed valves and a 6 speed trans and was a much better bike.

Ferret, How did oiling work on those bikes. Did you mix it in the gas or did it have a tank and mixing system, like a lot of outboards.

They had a tank and mixing system that was controlled by the throttle. My first two bikes were Yamahas. A 1966 100cc Twin Jet, affectionately know as a Twin Tin because of their tinny exhaust sound. Three months later I traded it in on 305cc twin as all my buddies were moving up. Both these bikes had the Autolube system.
I also worked for a motorcycle dealer in the Parts Department one summer because my government job was sent to the Shediac, New Brunswick to create employment there. The dealer had a contest to see who could sell the most 350 R5s in a week. The nice looking lady there sold one a day. I was offered a dealers discount and bought one as well.
That was my favourite Yamaha, it would actually "do the ton".
Rode it for 10,000 miles that year and sold it the next for what I paid for it because it was in perfect shape.
Easy bike to maintain, light, nimble, and quick for its size.
