CBX 1050 PHOTOS - Beto Rocco_imp - 02-02-2022 Some photos of the Honda CBX 6 cylinders for those who like to remember. RE: CBX 1050 PHOTOS - GoldOxide_imp - 02-02-2022 Ya baby! Just love looking back at old manufacturer's glossy brochures. RE: CBX 1050 PHOTOS - peterbaron - 02-02-2022 TY A few real photos with the exact address and a key in the ignition switch would be greatly appreciated ... especially if it's close to the Ontario/Canadian border
RE: CBX 1050 PHOTOS - Gone in 60 - 02-02-2022 Such an awesome machine. RE: CBX 1050 PHOTOS - Beto Rocco_imp - 02-02-2022 (02-02-2022, 03:18 AM)Gone in 60_imp Wrote: Such an awesome machine. Yes, amazing. It was replaced by Honda in 1983, which in practice was better in almost everything, but lacked the charisma of the 6 cylinders and their exhaust curves. RE: CBX 1050 PHOTOS - Gone in 60 - 02-02-2022 I think I want to track down a high resolution version of that black and white engine shot and frame it for my office. Thanks, Cormanus. I'll have to see how well that will print out. I don't have enough motorcycle art in my office. RE: CBX 1050 PHOTOS - Tev62 - 02-03-2022 It is interesting to see how much the fined design extends down into the front of the engine castings compared to the CB1100, presumably to aid in engine cooling. Did the CBX not have an oil cooler, I can't see one or is it buried in the shadows? Good move if so, giving an unobstructed view of those six pipes. It has a thin black oil cooler on top of the engine. Because it's black, it's really hard to see in the photos, but in the X-ray picture it's item G |
