Top speed - jamboa_imp - 06-08-2013 Turned. 600 miles. With all the luggage ready for a 4K road trip it only does 110 mph and pulls but 6500 rpms RE: Top speed - Randy B - 06-08-2013 http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=407
RE: Top speed - the Ferret - 06-09-2013 Pulls 6500 in 5 th? What about 4 th? RE: Top speed - Deanohh_imp - 06-09-2013 So is it rev limited depending on which gear its in? And that limits speed, or is it simply the speed that triggers a fuel or spark cut? RE: Top speed - JESTER_imp - 06-09-2013 110.......i find that number hard to take...i got into full areo tuck and hit 130 before i backed out of it. RE: Top speed - HikerToo_imp - 06-09-2013 How about the 0 to 60 in 3.2 seconds, that seems more usable to me. I'll have to scan and post the Cycle World specs when I get a chance. The CB11 was robbed!! ![]() But the low end is much more important... With the proper profile, the CB11 could probably reach that speed if dropped from about 5,000 ft.
RE: Top speed - OZZY_imp - 06-13-2013 So tell me why are the US bikes speed limited when only capable of low top speeds. As far as I know the only speed limiting here is that production bikes must not exceed 300kph top speed. Either way there has to be either a lawyer or politician or both involved. |
