Well said, popgun. It's a tragic day indeed in a beautiful country. My thoughts too are with my friends across the ditch.

Never expected from that corner of the world. It seems many of us remain unsettled in this world. Peace be with all New Zealanders.

So senseless and barbaric! My heart goes out to NZ and the family and friends of the victims.

It's a crazy world we live in, no place is safe. My heart goes out to those who have lost loved ones.

Thoughts and prayers for those affected by this tragic act of violence. An occurrence that has become frequent here in North America, is a shock it has happened in the beautiful and peaceful New Zealand.

I concur with all other messages.
Great people, the New Zealanders. Staunch friends, loyal. Stood with us in TWO World Wars, despite being half a world away.
We're with you now and thinking of you, Kiwis.

Wow, been mostly asleep for 2 1/2 days due to medicine from a bad case of bronchitis. had no idea this had happened until I logged in here. had to google it to see what happened.

SO SAD. Hard to believe their can be so much hatred in the world.

My heart goes out to those affected by this senseless tragedy.
