Wanted to share my map from my Dyno - 12cb96vfr_imp - 12-19-2013
My only mods are a Two-Bros slip on, K&N, and the PCV.
The only issue I had was a high-idle, so I changed the "0" column to all zeros (see below for more info on what I mean by that).
Here is how to read the map (I hope i'm not the only one that didn't know how to read this lol)
The top line is % throttle.
The line on the side is the RPM.
The # in each cell is the percentage +/- stock. Zero is stock. So if you see a 10 that's 10% above stock fuel output for that RPM and throttle opening. -10 would be 10% below stock output.
This map at all zeros would be equal to what the bike is equipped with from the factory.
You'll notice that between 3000-5000 we leaned it out (dropped the numbers in those cells) by 5 points. We did that because in top-gear your cruising RPM is normally between 3-5k. That will give you better fuel efficiency while cruising on the highway. My fuel mileage has gone UP since I put this on, so I do think it's doin it's job.
I had a high idle but I noticed that zero throttle between 1000-1500
rpm cells I had 11, 5, 5. I put those cells back to zero (stock) and I'll test the idle tomorrow.
Please use this and enjoy!! The smoothness of the bike is incredible, didn't notice any power per-se, but the throttle response is off the charts.

one thing I thought was interesting was the change between a very small RPM - you'll see that at 5% throttle at 1250rpm it's 15% above stock, then at 1500 it's stock, then at 1750 it's 12% above stock....it was kinda cool watching the dyno do it's thing.

The dyno operator had to hold the throttle as still as possible, then the computer would read as the bike revved up (you can imagine at 2% throttle it revved up pretty slow). Then after it got the reading it would fill in the optimized fueling. We ended up doing that 3 times for every throttle percentage and the computer takes an average of the 3.
Things really get going when you do the 100% throttle - you just peg it and let that thing roll, then it plugs in the cells for ya. Very cool to see for the first time!!!!

My map is amazingly similar at 100%. But I'm much leaner in the other areas under 6k rpm. My instructions were that I wanted fuel economy but power when I asked for it.

awesome! yeah dude he said for me to monitor where I cruise most of the time, then if I wanted better mileage just keep leaning it out 1% at a time in that cruising range till it starts surging, then put a little more back in it.
the good thing is the guy that did my map is a very cool dude, he said anytime i need to check anything just swing by, he'll slap her on the dyno and work it out.

If you ever block the pair hose to reduce popping, you might have him run it again to check it...might change things but I'm not sure.....on some bikes it needs a map change when you do it.

yeah we blocked it while tuning, then we opened it up and tuned her again haha. actually picked up 1/2 hp with it open!
totally off topic - how do you like your raider? Dude I went and looked at one the other day....if I had any more room in my garage I'd have one right now.
I came off a warrior - I would LOVE to shove a 113 in a warrior frame and tear s**t up!!!

Mines stock but eats up the road. The dyno guy wanted to tune it. Said he's gotten em up to almost 130 hp. (pipes &airbox too). Said the first one he did almost jumped off the dyno....wild.

WOW- dude that is nuts! my warrior had 99ft/lbs and 79hp (all I had was pipes) and it was a handful, I couldn't imagine riding it with 130hp!!!
when I looked at it I was blown away at how lite that bike is - that is one thing Star does very well, they really know how to cut the weight. I've always thought Star was the best metric cruiser on the market....
This is the first time since I started riding that I didn't have a v-twin in the garage and i've been itching to ride one!

He might have said 130 ftlb......but either way you know that's pretty good for the pushrod engine. 4valve heads though

Yeah still that would be nasty - I totally think you should do it!!
Then you should plan a cross-country ride to tail of the dragon and I'll meet ya and take it for a spin lol!!!
