What would be good "tip-over" protection for my '14 CB1100 Deluxe? I especially worry about scratching or denting the beautiful chrome pipes. Some threads mention the OEM Honda engine guards to protect the engine. What other areas to be concerned about?
I can't stand the way those goofy guards look, so my tip over protection is good insurance. That's what I pay for. If it happens, it will get fixed. Just try to be careful and enjoy the way the bike looks every time you walk away... With no things hanging off it
If you don't mind the looks though, go to Samurider and check out their offerings. They have two different types that I'm aware of. If memory serves though, none protect the muffler. Have my word though, if you damage your muffler you can have mine haha

No, no. You are supposed to be using yours to try my shortened stock muffler idea!
What's the deal? Nobody has suggested the "rubber thingies" to protect my levers?
Actually I am taking very special care of her. I am so proud of this beautiful bike.
I fitted S W engine guards. I have no idea how well they will protect the engine - and I'm in no hurry to find out.
I'll just do the best I can to not drop it.
