Wow, married a year. That was May 1975 for me. Coming up on #41.
Nice work, MG. My compliments to your wife.
Yup, a whole year! Haha. 41 years is quite impressive. My hat's off to you ferret. And thank you Cormanus. What truly makes me fortunate is how amazing she is as a person. It took me a while to find her but it was worth the wait.

Edit: I just realized that I was 6 and my wife was 5 when you got married. But please don't let that make you think of yourself as old! I like to think it means my wife and I are still so very young!
Having the right partner in life is more important than having lots of money. There are lots of " rich" people who are miserable every day. I have never made/ had a lot of money, but with Mrs Ferret in my life, every day has been rewarding. Every one of them.

Congrats! My wife and I just hit 33 years. For better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, we have exercised all the options, and it just makes the relationship all the more sweet.
I hope to be around long enough to put up the numbers you guys are sharing. Nicely done DG. This is my wife's first marriage and my second. After the first didn't work, I thought (and swore) I'd never marry again. Then she came along and changed absolutely everything.
My wife and I love each other dearly, can't imagine living without each other, yet both would say if something happened to the other, the remaining one would not remarry.

(neither one of us could imagine breaking in a new one)
25 years this past September for us....we spent our anniversary riding motorcycles.
Since this thread has morphed into a length of marriage thread, I'm proud to say the Contessa and I celebrated our 35th on the 8th of December. I was a young buck jarhead and she agreed to be my wife. Money was never a driving force for us, lucky because money and infidelity are the main reasons for divorce today. I never made demands of her and she never did towards me. I can't imagine a life without her. And she still lets me ride, even after some foolish years, broken bones, hip replacement, and plenty of scrapes and scratches.

And Mr T is pretty amazing too, order placed on December 26, box arrived today on the 29th.
Can you mount a luggage box on that or is it only a grab bar? Either way very cool.
I still haven't gotten around to doing any mods, but if I did I think it might be a luggage rack.
Some kind of front fairing could be good, I've heard good things about having one.
