Well they are known as flyscreens I do know my Puig protected me from a good size rock thrown up by a car. It whacked the screen, deflected and glanced off my face shield. Glad I had a full face helmet on that day!

Popgun, it's insane!! I continue to marvel at people riding around without face protection. Here in Houston, crap flying off the road, not to mention the bugs, all the time. One of those to the face or eye, and it could be devastating.

Glad you had the windshield and FF helmet on. I only ride with a FF helmet myself, despite the fact that Texas allows no helmet riding.
