Hey guys,

I'm going to put a decal on the side of my Chic Sport Seat, and I am debating between the two pictured below:

The Honda Wings emblem in silver or the Club 59 decal in silver:

For anyone who may not be aware, Club 59 is a motorcycle club founded in 1959 in London which has pretty much become synonymous with cafe racers and subculture.

I'm actually looking at joining a new Los Angeles chapter which is starting up here soon.

The Honda wings of course looks just like the one on the tank, only bigger.

Thoughts?
I would suggest placing the decals in locations that appeal to you with clear tape and then take some photos. Afterwards you can decide what works for you.
Good idea, I can tape one on either side and compare. I think either would look good, but I'm on the fence.
Redbirds advice is real good. I bought some 3d decals similar to those for my ST. I stuck them on with tape and spent a LOT of time looking at them and deciding where I wanted them. Then was very careful to get them oriented exactly right.

I then made a mark on some painters tape and on the decal and aligned them when I stuck them on. Its pretty much a one time shot, so you don't want to mess up. Oh yeah, then cleaned the mark off the decal.
So you don't think the wet install method would work with these? You basically spray the decal with a soapy solution which allows you to slide the decal around. It's how I installed my vinyl stripes.
Reb,

I like the #59 logo. Other club members may notice it as well. I can't tell you how many people have stopped me to talk after seeing the Texas A&M logo on my car or truck. Cheers.

Good point, Chip. It would be a cool "calling card" to fellow 59 members.
I know a (very) little about the 59 Club, but what I know is good stuff and I think that the 59 decal would add to the retro look you're going for.
Until now I didn't know what 59 meant...COOL...you already have a set of wings, so I wouldn't dilute it by addiing more, my vote is....Club 59....

That depends on the decal I guess. The Wing ones look like the "3d" ones I got for the ST. They were peel and stick. I thought your Wing ones were too. That's what I was talking about.

And by the way, your stripes look great!!!
