When I just Googled "CB1100 rear shocks" these nice-looking, cheap piggyback shocks came up as one of the first hits:

Has anyone used them? I've seen fitment problems with piggyback shocks on the CB (having to mount them backward, etc.).
From what I have gathered, they are a very poor quality shock.
These might be the same ones that were sold for the Vmax a couple years ago. I bought them for about $150. from China because they were sexy. Absolutely NO damping. Just a spring and whatever friction was created by the shaft running against the seal.
When I look at bike shocks, there's no reason a good pair should be $500. +++ !! But they are. Cheap is Cheap.

Since they list CB900F and CB1100F, I would assume they are for the 1980's CB's and are incorrectly categorized for our CB1100.

Ya, that was my thought too. ONLY $1300. If we do a group buy and used our coupon we could get them down to only $1200.

I bought mine in either late March or early April 2013 and the dealer said it had been on the floor for about 2 weeks. So far it is the only one they have sold. Don't know how many the other 2 local dealers sold so far.
I can't remember the exact date without looking it up as I bought it and then let it sit at the dealer for a couple of weeks due to bad weather.
My 13 came in on March 29th 2013, picked up same day and my 14 came in on April 2nd, and I picked it up April 5th 2014
My dealer has sold 7 of them I think. 3 dlxs I know of. Another 14 std just last Saturday.
