I will post pictures this evening but I did install my Dart Marlin flyscreen last evening and everything went well as far as the installing of the screen. The brackets are about an inch out beyond the original brackets but with the screen installed it looks good. The quality as you all know is excellent. The only problem I encountered is the brace that the headlight bucket bolts screw in to kept coming off inside the bucket. Has anyone else had this issue? The brace actually slides into an area on the inside of the bucket but my left side kept sliding away from the hole for the screw or bolt. Anyhow I ended up putting on the bracket on the left side and unscrewing the headlight and keeping my hand on inside brace while I tightened it up. It worked but it was just a royal pain. Obviously that has nothing to do with the flyscreen. I haven't tried a test ride yet as it was about 46 and raining here in Indiana last night. Is it really May? I plan on doing a test ride this afternoon. Thanks

Wow, yea that really moves the headlight out a bit. Shield looks good. Waiting to hear how it works after a test ride. Find some expressway and cruise about 70 mph for a good test. while cruising put your left hand behind the shield and lift it until you feel the air flow then follow it back to you chest or neck or helmet. You'll feel it.

I am going to try to get out this afternoon about three and ride. It has stopped raining and I think it will be 60+ this afternoon. It does look good and those brackets are nice quality pieces. I will try testing the wind buffeting and air pressure. I wear a full face Arai helmet. Without a windscreen the helmet is pretty quiet....we will see. I have spent enough time changing windscreens on my St1300 and R1200RT to know about the buffeting issues with windscreens....I am a little nervous about the buffeting. I can always go back to no windscreen. I love the motorcycle and I don't want to do too much to alter the beauty of it.
When I installed my marlin flyscreen on my '14 standard I had the same problem. I ended up having to pull the headlight assy. apart and hold the wire harness standoffs so I could thread the headlight ear bolts thru. That being said the flyscreen seems to work great. I took a ride yesterday and felt a noticeable reduction in blast and pressure on my chest. I also didnt notice any buffeting with my helemet, but I was wearing my Bell 500 so Im going to try it with my full face, if we can get a break in the rain lol.

How tall are you? I am like 5'9"
I went out and rode about 30 miles this afternoon before coming back to work. My initial reactions after riding are follows and btw it was a very windy day today. The screen etc is very stable and it does create a pocket of still air around the chest and stomach area. There is no rattling and it does not touch the gauges... I do believe the wind noise is louder than without the screen. If I stand up the wind noise decreases. I don't think there is much if any buffeting around my helmet. I will ride some more Saturday and give more feedback. Thanks everyone.
I also installed my Dart Marlin earlier in the week. My impressions are very similar. It moves the headlight out about 1-7/8" but it doesn't affect the looks that much since the screen is there.
At speed, again, pretty similar experience. My sense is that there is only a bit of mild turbulence hitting the helmet but the stomach and chest are in still air. I am 6' even so I expected helmet area to be in relatively open air and it pretty much is.
I have been on the freeway only a little but I think for long stretchs of slab, this will be a big help in eliminating fatigue. Just what the doctor ordered for a long stretch of highway before the rally!

How high is it above the ignition again?
