It's got a nice little gap between the seat and tank.

I think maybe when you are juggling a two year old and taking pictures this is the best you get.
Can you post a link to where you bought the Cowl and does it vibrate at all? The only Bikini Cowl I've found had complaints of Buzzing and a rack that formed from the buzzing.

The Chic seat is great and you can get it color matched. I've had one quite a while, got it from Webike. If you buy enough stuff from them, shipping is free.
ALSO - the stock seat and the solo trunk seat are interchangeable. Take one off, put the other right on. As easy as that.

btw-it looks great.
Turn the key, the seat comes right up allowing the acces to the trunk that you see in the photo.
The same in reverse to put the seat back on.
Look at the photos again.
