That instrument panel, and the one on the 2014 models, ought really to feature on the Ferret's thread about the little details making this such a beautiful bike.
That key fob should say "Insert before flight, and remove after flight" for this specific application.

90% of my day it hangs from a clip on my belt loop. So it works for that application.
