I have the Wixom that was mounted on my 72 CB750 hanging from the rafters in my shed. Windshield is cracked but that is easy to replace. Maybe someday I'll get a wild hair and mount it on the 1100 to see what it looks like.

I just found an Wixom Ranger at a garage sale,looks like a later version that used the larger flat turn signals & 7 inch headlight,,no windscreen but Gustoffson still has replacements, I've got the bikini style on my '13 now ,almost more buffeting with it on than off, guess they call em bikini fairings because it only hides a few goodies with minimal protection,I mocked up the Wixom on the 1100 and it should look pretty good after i refinish it

That's a Wixom Brothers, made in Long Beach, CA. Should have their business card in the fiberglass on the inside, right below the bracket. They had color matched with striping to match Hondas in the early 70's.

Yeah, those Beemer guys really love their Wixoms. The Boxercafe folks actually made new fiberglass molds from existing Wixom fairings. That's dedication!

Those lower fairings definitely give a bike a unique look.

I remember that fairing: My dad had one on his '72 CB750, same color too. Then had everything, fairing, tank, side covers, saddle bags, and our helmets painted candy root beer brown with some custom airbrush effects. Don't know if I can find pics though.
