Yep, $3K. Those are custom aftermarket wheels. I wonder if Honda charges that much for factory EX wheels?
The place where I get my tires specializes in making custom bike wheels. I'm thinking they could probably make up a set for less than $3K.

I'm thinking much of the expense is custom machined hubs.
When I get my DLX end of next month the list will consist of but not limited to:
1-Daytona K0 look side covers
2-Rear carrier: Honda or aftermarket haven't decided
3-Wind screen: still deciding though the Chic Designs are nice
4-engine guards: Honda or aftermarket
5-exhaust: going to see if Supertrapp Supermegs can be adapted
6-TSR funnels I like the old school name "Velocity Stacks"
7-PCV or Bazzaz
8-Possibly a seat depending on the ol' butt
9-Etc.
Other than the above tons of tires and lots of oil and gas!

I don't have a '14 Delux but before I picked up my 2013 I had in my minds eye exactly what I wanted it to look like and what I wanted to change. I wanted it to look pretty stock when finished. The final Chip Beck Spec is the toughest and is requiring a lot of time and thought to pull off. But if it works out it will be a lot easier to duplicate. Stay tuned.

I really like my Dart Windscreen it is the larger Marlin screen. I just got from Mr. T a Honda rear rack and I think I will put a throttle lock of some kind on it.
