Have any of the forum members installed C Bow mounts and used these bags with them? If so, I'd be interested in seeing a photo of the side of your bike with bags installed.

Thanks,

I run a set of small throw-over Cortech bags, sited a bit too far forward because of the turn signals, but since I am solo all the time, it doesn't really matter.

Hi Bob, I have cbows and the street soft bags.

Mostly I'm very happy but the mounting hardware (the stuff that mounts the mounts to the frame) is ugly. Installation requires a relocation of the rear signals, and there's barely enough wire to do it. The bags themselves are very nice, , big and waterproof. I've done a bunch of weekend camping trips with them and they're great coupled with the H+B rear rack.

The keyhole is a little hard to access too.

Not sure I'd get them again, but when I was looking they seemed like the best option. Mostly my POV now is just to get a different bike that's meant to carry luggage in the first place.
Yeah, it is a bit rough DBXXX, and common IMO. There are few street bikes that "look good" with the mounting hardware sans the side bags. The CB is not one of them. One that does come to mind is the late model Kawasaki Versys 650 LT ... it looks clean.

Don't know if you saw my previous post, but I traded the lovely CB1100 on a barely used 2016 Triumph T120 on Nov 8th. Just in time to get it home for the first snowfall of the year here in NE Ohio!

I owned a W650 from Aug 2000 thru 2007, and was fortunate to find a set of mounts from 5 Star (Germany) for that bike that was plug and play with a pair of Givi E21 Monokey hard bags. They popped on and off easily, and were on the bike practically all the time I owned it.
