I owned the 2013 model but after 25 miles or so both she and I had to relieve our bums!At that time there wasn't any upgrades available and so I changed the bike. The rest of it I really liked.
Just ordered the EX and see the saddle looks nigh on the same but with different cover.
Corbin produce an upgrade and I assume it will fit as it doesn't actually claim to cater for 2015 bikes.
Would anyone know or suggest another possible upgrade? I'd be satisfied with 50 miles before getting off but 100 would be more like it ideally.
Good to be back and thanks for reading.
25 miles? Wow . I think thats a record (low)

The DLX seat is a little thicker than the stds but I don't think the foam is any different in density, and to tell the truth sometimes I think my 13 seat was more comfortable than my 14 dlx's. Still it's not unusual for me to drive 150 miles or nearly a tankful without stopping. Can't imagine having to get off after 25 miles. Would never get anywhere that way.

i assume you are asking if the Corbin seat will fit a 14 dlx as the only 15s released have been a special edition ex with mags in Japan.
Thanks for the reply Ferret. It isn't just me that suffered with the 1st seat though look..........

Next I purchased a used Tiros-K seat as I find the stock seat uncomfortable after 45 minutes(kennyw)

I'm looking at items on the webike(Japan) site and spotted Daytona MODEL : 74923 Cozy seat 70's series type K0 Low. It certainly looks great doesn't it?
Anyone tried?
Oh I realize some people find the stock seat uncomfortable after a while, and many do replace the seat. I just thought 25 miles was rather low. I guess if he got caught in traffic kennyw might make it only 25 miles in 45 minutes.
I have a Deluxe and it is pretty uncomfortable but I love the looks. I bought these http://motoskiveez.com/ They do work. I don't think I would be able to do 200 miles but I can do 100 pretty comfortably without a break.
If ones buns are in such sad shape that one has difficulty riding, I suggest gel butt implants. Do it once, do it right and be done with it. Then one can ride anything Smile

I can't tell if you're serious or not lol.
Not
I didn't know there were such things drodg58 so thanks for that. At the price of super saddles that may or may not be the answer those pants have got to be worth a try.
Ta lots!
I am going to try the Daytona KO seat as well, but it is out of stock until at least mid October and by then it will probably be snowing here !
