your theory makes sense.. we have ag-land all around us down by the beaches.. probably run off from the fields.. they may have to cut back on the strawberries !! .. I believe this area supplies quite a large portion of the strawberries grown here in the u.s. .. lots of lemons too.. dedicated ag-land keeps the builders at bay in most of the area.. but not right across the street from me !! .. I am trying to think of a positive side to all of it.. property values are going up for one thing.. traffic might not be so good.. only time will tell.. I hear a 3 bedroom apt. will lease for $4500. a month.. at least the ones with a view of the harbor.. I never had too much of a view to start with, so no harm there..

I live in a seniors mobile home park located in ventura harbor.. it's a great place to live.. I mentioned property values going up.. here is an example of some new homes that are in escrow..

what makes it all work for me, living in this mobile home park, is the fact that I have some rental properties and have taken over a garage and back yard for my own use at my tri-plex.. I keep my bike there in the garage and have a nice work area for bike work or landlord projects.. I like the bike projects a lot better !! .. you may have seen my work area..

I called it my showroom, cause I would sell my completed bikes out of it.. I could manage to keep 3 bikes in there.. there was a lot of jockeying around at times..
