I am looking at buying a Givi Monolock E450 top case as I would like to have a case that locks. I am using a Cortech soft bag now on my rack. My question has anyone installed a Givi universal mount on the 14 Deluxe OEM rack? I know the Monolock cases come with a universal plate. Anyhow thanks.

Not me, but I installed the Monolock Universal Plate on a Givi luggage rack on my '13. Not sure exactly what your question is, but I can say that the Givi Universal mount is truly universal--mounting options are almost unlimited, each of the holes in the honeycombed surface is designed to accept the mounting hardware, so it appears to be quite adaptable regardless of the position of the crossbars of the rack.
Thanks I had thought there might have been a thread some time ago about the 14 rack and the universal Givi plate having an issue mounting it. It is probably is no big deal.

Hi drodg58, I have installed the Givi E350 Monolock on my 2013. Its just as SailorRider says, the Givi Monolock universal mounting system IS universal. I would be very supprised if you couldn't find a good mount point on any round rear luggage rack.
It mounts with flat steel clamps about three inches long with rounded ends that go over the round steel of the rear rack. Think of a gull wing coming at you. The hole is offset so that one side is longer than the other. Its really neat the way it works and the locking luggage is great and water proof.

Thanks everyone and thanks Popgun on the discussion thread link as that is the link I was thinking of. I looked at the pictures posted last night and looked at my 14 Honda rack and I think it will work. I like the looks of my smaller Cortech bag with the bike but I think I need something a little bigger and would like a lock on it. Anyhow the 35 liter to 45 liter size seems to be about what I am looking for. I have had Givi bags in the past and have been very satisfied with them. I just want something that doesn't take away from the looks of the CB and isn't too tall sitting back there. Anyhow thanks again.
