I have a J.W.Speaker LED projector headlight (sold by Motodemic.com) on my Bonneville. It lights up the road ahead almost like daylight, and I've been extraordinarily happy with it. I would rank my OEM headlight about a 1/2 on a scale of 0 to 10, however, so keep that in mind. The comments I've read on this site seem to indicate many are happy with their headlights, so the projector headlight might not be much of an improvement for you.

Another thing to consider is that the light pattern from the projector headlamp is different than the reflector headlight. A high-quality headlight is required in order to get good coverage of the road. I spoke with a BMW rider who said he turned a corner one night and could see NOTHING on the road because of the way his bars were turned. (I have not had that problem.) Also, you just might not like the way the light shines on the road. The Motodemic website has a photograph of the lit road from the rider's view, so you can get an idea what it would look like.

My headlight was plug and play specifically for the Bonnie, so I can't speak for installation on your CB.
