Here is another option http://www.lockhartphillipsusa.com/UNIVE...IRING.html for $49.95, that is a bit more traditional in look.

They getting cheaper & cheaper in price! If we keep looking we might find some for .99 cents lol
VW if no hole in bottom for horn bracket. Just drill a hole buy a small L bracket at hardware store and bam it's on and tight Smile

It's in west Hilliard near the Franklin County fairgrounds, just west of 270.

The seller appears to be Classic Cycle Parts, 4623 Northwest Parkway
Hilliard, OH.

That's OK if there's enough material at the bottom to accommodate a hole. If its too thin or narrow, no good.
That's true VW. Good point.

I will check and see if the Dollar Store can order us some! Tongue
That would be great! We have a dollar store rite down the road I do all my shopping there! LOL. But for real the prices are getting great on the front cowl fairings! Smile

Fantastic find. I'm going to give that one a shot. Hopefully, no major modifications are needed. If so, I might just send it back and go with the aluminum cowl. But for $50, it's worth at least trying it out. I'll report back with photos! DG, thank you sir!

Edit: Order placed directly from Lockhart Phillips. Chaparral Motorsports has it for $10 more even though they show the MSRP at $49.95 (weird). So, $49.95 + $7.99 shipping, no tax, total = $57.94. Stay tuned!

I noticed that direct from Lockhart was the cheaper route. Anxiously awaiting your report. Hopefully a great one!
Anxiously awaiting the update :-)
