Could you elaborate a bit more about these flat tabs, where are they located, and how does that make it compatible w/ the SWM side rack on your DLX?

The OEM rack has huge Gromits, that stick way out. Here are 2 good shots as to how my rack attaches.

But that is not an OEM rack, it's an Enduance rack.

Those are krauser bags. I think the only vendors are overseas. I like them better than the hepco version.

I would go for the assembly and reinstall the stock red lens and paint the lenses of the blinkers red as well.

Good news. Webike sells these bags. I bought my first farkle (road comet fairing) from them before I heard about the samurider site. They were great to work with. I've been trying to decide between the police bags versus the krausers. Hard decision. I really like the look of the bike naked but a planned road trip necessitates some luggage.
