I digg the look of the bike with the rider on it.
But not so much whennthe bike stands on its own.
It may sound strange but I find our bikes look better while someone is sitting on it.
Its seems much easier to make a good looking picture of our bikes while somebody is sitting on it than when it sits alone.
In most cases it doesn't matter that much but I find it makes quit a difference with our bikes, I can't explain why.
I think it's a cool cowl, but the sharp edges don't go well with the rear cowl, maybe just the tank. The bike would look much better with cast wheels, see if he wants to trade me for his spoked wheels
i assume you know just trading wheels won't do the job?
It would be much nicer if it was color matched to the same red. It looks very functional and doesnt go that bad with it.
The paint looks closer to matching in the second pic, hard to tell.
It might be interesting to see the cowl in black or silver on the red bike. Silver I think would be cool.
I don't like it. Too angular for the CB's lines.
What are those things on the front right of the bike? Is that red thing a horn? And what about that black-metallic thing that looks like a steering dampener but in a very strange place?

I'd would say correct on both counts. That is definitely a horn. Hella brand if I were a betting man. They are pretty popular with the Subaru guys. Pretty loud too.
I also agree that it appears to be a steering damper. I would venture that it is mounted there to avoid contact with the inside of that fairing.
The horn mount is very interesting. I may have to look into that. I bought the cheap Chinese Hella knockoffs. Painted 'em black.
It has a sort of 80's retro look that is appealing to me. Definitely different, that's for sure.
