This is old mate from Biker Bits take on carrying fuel. Once again, like all his vids, I had to crack a smile or two. There are some great photos of the Simpson Desert at 14:00 to 14:20 or so. Worth looking at that if you wonder what the real "outback" might be like. Especially with no fuel, or worse still, no water.

Cheers

CAUTION: Video may contain traces of the Great Australian Adjective.
Bl**dy brilliant that is!

Another option for carrying more petrol and water might be one of these.

Sounds like a well thought-out plan. Thumbs Up

You're right there. But I still get a laugh out of him. I posted this in the throttle lock thread:

Be warned though - apart from extensive use of the great Australian adjective there is one use of another expletive when he gets a little surprise when out on the road. If you have the patience to sit out the 15 minutes, you might get a laugh out of it. This bloke is your archetypal Aussie. Ya just gotta laugh. On the other hand maybe it doesn't cross cultures. Let's see.

For free you also get another GoPro mount idea.
I started to watch the fuel video this morning in the house, but didn't have time to finish, ie: the long winded comment (he is entertaining though). About an hour later I was driving along in my truck and I heard a voice. I wasn't listening to the radio but the system was linked to my phone for driving directions. I looked at the screen on the dashboard and it said motorcycle....I turned the volume up and it was the bloke from the OZ video. I guess Siri wanted me to finish what I started, even without the video portion.
Pterodactyl, why don't you offer old mate a couple of video editing classes? Geez he goes on.
That's the funny bit. 15 minutes to review a throttle lock! That, in itself, appeals to my twisted sense of humour.

Siri, poor girl, is obviously smitten.

Cheers
Sorry if this is a noob question but when you add one of the K10 tanks for example, Samurider makes it sound like you'd also need a new seat- has anyone got experience with this? I imagine the DLX tank will work with the stock CB seat, but I'm thinking aftermarket.
According to the Whitehouse site, they have a partnership with Samurider and to email them with questions. Most likely because Mr. T (Samurider owner) speaks English. I would ask about the seat to be sure.

If you email Mr. T, he will reply. Remember the time difference and don't expect a reply "today".
