Looking at the only pic here I could find of the RDL on a CB1100 the driver pad sort of looks fairly short front to rear. I may have to rethink this or certainly talked with RDL. I had my stock seat reworked right after I bought the bike to add foam at the front and move the back of the butt 2" to accomodate my long legs. It sort of has a saddle appearance, less the wide wings. Dang me for not asking for a demo ride before I committed to buy (not that the dealer would have allowed that). The seat area IMO is extremely hard and my butt feels it after 30-45 minutes. I'm experimenting with a small pillow I found at Meximart for $3. If that works I can save the $600 or so I would have to spend for a RDL. I can always have extra foam added locally but this time, it will require a new cover. Still cheaper than the RDL. Sounds like I've talked myself out of doing business with RDL, doesn't it?

I have a RDL on my Griso, (I'm the forth owner), looks terrible, feels great. Big Grin Best seat I've ever had for long rides.
White Dog, the folks at Russell will build the drivers portion to YOUR butt. One seat will measure out differently from another depending on who it is built for. You can have the pillion section built for a specific person also.
Love your mods!!! It was the direction I was going with the CB1100!!
