I had my stock seat reworked right after I bought the bike to add foam at the front and move the back of the butt 2" to accomodate my long legs. It sort of has a saddle appearance, less the wide wings. Dang me for not asking for a demo ride before I committed to buy (not that the dealer would have allowed that). The seat area IMO is extremely hard and my butt feels it after 30-45 minutes. I'm experimenting with a small pillow I found at Meximart for $3. If that works I can save the $600 or so I would have to spend for a RDL. I can always have extra foam added locally but this time, it will require a new cover. Still cheaper than the RDL. Sounds like I've talked myself out of doing business with RDL, doesn't it?
Best seat I've ever had for long rides.
