I’m curious to see if anyone had installed the Dimotiv Engine Guard (pn: DI-EG-H0-02-P)? If yes how was the installation? … and I like see some pictures (better than Dimotiv web site).
Welcome retro!

Can you post a link? I've been all over the Dimotiv site and can't find any reference to that part number.
Looks well thought out by the pics. Never heard of this one before.
That sure is different
I think this is the first time it has been mentioned on the forum. I know its the first time I've seen it.

Doesn't look very difficult to install. Mounts on engine mounting bolts and looks to come with some that you have to swap out. You will need torque values to do it right.

To my eye its kinda weird, but to each his own! Please post some pics if you get a set.
I purchased a few items from them for another bike. Free shipping for purchases over $100. Parts designed in German and made in Taiwan.
I'm not crazy about their finish choice, but I like the design. The outside bar is long and straight, like my OVER engine guards. After my deer strike last year, I found that design would actually hold up the whole bike when it was on its side. Nothing behind my handlebars got a scratch on it.

I too would prefer to see some good photos of the unit installed on a CB and some reviews by those who installed it before I pulled the trigger on such a purchase. If you look closely at the Dimotiv web site shot, it almost looks like the bars were "photo shopped" onto the CB and not actually installed. The bolt heads look weird and there is no shadow cast by the bars. You want to make sure that a lot of R&D has been done on something like this...which is why I went with the SW Motech bars.

And, as Flynrider noted...I'm not crazy about the finish choice either.
Ya know Gumby, I thought it looked Photoshopped too.
