Received the tracking number for delivery of my Corbin seat early next week!

Good seat, and an amazing job of packaging.

Looking at your info, I was by your way this past Monday. Hit the BRP at Fancy Gap. I've eaten breakfast at Lake View several times this year. We ate lunch at Mabry Mill restaurant. Love their buckwheat pancakes!

Can't wait to ride on the Corbin seat!

So far, so good. Once I was able to latch the Corbin seat onto the cycle and sit on it, the seat sure felt firm. After about 2 miles, however, the firmness went away and I was able to nestle my butt back into the mini backrest with comfort. I've already added my sheepskin to create a little more softness.

I have a little more work to do to get the seat to latch properly. Corbin tells me to remove the plate which holds the U bracket and use some spacers under the plate to make it easier for the U bracket to seat deeper in the Honda latch mechanism. I believe I can handle that.

Let me know when you'll be in the area again, I know a good lunch spot down this winding road ...........

That's a deal. I'll send you a PM--otherwise, we will have every CB1100 in the Southeast showing up at your door.

I wouldn't worry about the spacers if you can get it latched pressing down firmly. Latching it gets easier once you get it broken in.

Yep. That's what Corbin said. I was having to pound on mine to get it to latch/unlatch so the spacers were needed. As the seat breaks in, the spacers will be removed.
