My friend gave me a bunch of leftovers from when he did his Chevy truck. I applied them to the top of the tank tank pad style to prevent scratches and also to the side panels to prevent rubbing on the finish. Definetely a worthwhile mod.

I thought he meant the spray on stuff, but maybe he meant what Kmoney did. I used a kit from thetankslapper.biz on my CB and on my ST1300. Some of the kit for the ST was 3M and some not. I think you can order what you want though. There are advantages to both.

contacte tankslapper, as they offer a CB1100 tank pad and a tank bag kit for CB1100DLX. That tank is a tad larger, and I'm thinking I could trim it down some. I want the tank bag protection.
