who has done what to get the best dyno numbers?. I doubt anyone has done head work and cams yet, but for bolt on mods, what makes these bikes wake up?.

I haven't seen where anyone has broken 100hp yet but some dyno runs show HP in the mid-90s. Any that is just with cat-free exhausts/slip-on and with air box mods such as the TSR air funnel.

Hopefully some intake/exhaust mods and dyno results will weigh in.

Because Honda set out to make the CB with the emphasis on torque and linear power delivery, it would probably be necessary to do some porting work on the head, maybe larger valves and throttle bodies also in order to achieve HP numbers above 100. If I had wanted numbers like that I would have bought a CB1000R instead. Still it would be interesting to see what could be achieved by someone with the money and resources.

I seem to recall the highest HP anyone has gotten on this board was in the neighborhood of 92 HP but I couldn't find it. I found it

Motorcycle,com got 81.5 (stock 13)

Two Brothers Racing got 90.5 with their pipe (83 stock)

all different days, different weather, different dynos btw

on the uk forum there was a guy that made 97whp & 70ftlbs on full exhaust ,power commander & dyno tune. On my bike a 2013 model with a full exhaust,TSR Air funnel, Power Commander V and dyno tune it made 96whp & 68ftlbs . I would think that with what i have in bolt-ons right now plus if I decide to have the ECU reprogrammed and rev limit delete it would improve top end numbers.

We would need "hotter" cams to make any substantial gain and clearly more revs ....

Don't forget about me! 92.10 (Yoshi RS-3 slip-on, PCV, custom tune). Torque registered at 70.56 ft-lb.

Apparently he had just left the building. I hope to see him during my next visit.

For real world riding (under 100mph), torque is actually more relevant.
