My "new" CB1100...

I previously test rode a 2014 CB1100 and thought it was too small for my 6' 2" frame. After evaluating and test riding several other "retro" bikes I gave the Honda a second chance. The Corbin seat and lower superbike bars on the bike I purchased put my lanky frame in a much better riding posture.

The Kawasaki Z900RS (my 2nd choice), with a taller seat height was ergonomically a good fit, but I just didn't warm up to the overall style and twitchy throttle response. I also didn't care for the look of the bulbous tank, monoshock, and hideous radiator. Also, MUCH more expensive.

Features on my CB1100 include:
Yoshimura RSCV exhaust
Corbin Gunfighter seat
Dechromed fenders
LED signals
Superbike bars
Rizoma bar end mirrors
Metzeler tires
Piggyback shocks (Kawasaki Zephyr)

The bike only had 2400 miles. Tastefully modified, imho. Previous owner also included all the stock parts. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the purchase!

Yeah, that's the one. Seller has 20+ really nice bikes in his garage. After some haggling, we agreed on a mutually acceptable price. He's got about $3000 invested in mods.
Congratulations, Kurt.
Great looking bike. I could see myself moving over to a Z900RS one day, but I agree that the radiator and gas tank aren't ideal. Other than the weight, the CB has been a fantastic bike for me.
Heck yeah. Many happy riding miles ahead!
CK. Nice bike with a pleasing to my eye profile. Have fun and welcome to the owners club.
