Definitly a Suzuki twin. They used that engine badge and rectangular cam cover ends for years.

It's a 250cc Suzuki.
I think the wheels and tires make it look bigger than it really is.
The clean lines and tasteful paint job grabbed my attention.
It has been my desktop picture for months.
I have always had a fascination for café racers ever since I started riding in '66. My third bike was a 1966 BSA Lightning. I bought all sorts of fiberglass and alloy parts from Britain to convert it to a café racer. Even the battery was replaced with a large capacitor to save weight. It was the fastest motorcycle on the streets of Ottawa until the Japanese invasion of the early 70's.
The sound was similar to that German CB1100 sound byte video recently posted. On hot summer nights when the windows were all open, my younger brother could hear me coming home a mile away.
Oh to be a skinny 20 year old with a strong lower back again!
