If your wheel had no lips your tire would be flapping around attached to nothing.

Wait 5-15 minutes my ...
The black valve cover took several days and several coatings before the finish came off with paint stripper- so I read online to get aircraft stripper.
S'possed to be stronger, and everyone said their wheels were done quickly and easily. Not mine! This stuff is barely doing anything- seems no better than the normal stripper, despite it's rave reviews on Amazon. Ugh.
