Hi,
My new (slightly used) CB1100 came with this luggage rack installed. It's a nice extra, but I think I want to take it off for a while. I almost feel dumb asking this. Removal looks super easy. It looks like it's mounted to the grab rails with the two bolts on either side. Just wanted to check before I remove it. Anything I should look out for or tips that may make it easier?
Thanks!

Thanks, Cormanus. The tip about covering the tail lights with socks is a great tip. I was worried about scratching them with a wrench. My rack mounts behind the grab rails, but I think the same ideas apply.

If you don't have the original bolts and spacers, don't mess with it.
Uhhh, there aren't any spacers and you can see in his pic the original bungie bolts are there. http://www.partsfish.com/oemparts/a/hon/...d3256/seat
Looks like a piece of cake since that rack used the original hardware.
Yeah, it looks super easy. Four bolts and that's it. I'll use the sock method.
Thanks everyone!

Perfect! Thanks, Tom CUX!
Glad to know I have a good rack. I know it will come in handy, but I think I might not put it to good use for a while.
