Any good suggestions for a phone mount? Want something that does not block out the gear indicator display.

I use a Ram X-mount with a 3" arm. The arm mounts on ball joints that you can rotate pretty much any direction you like. Works well and when you're not using it you can take if off the bike with just the ball mount left on the handlebar.

This is my Ram mount. I love it with the usb charger.

This is what I bought a few weeks ago. I have it mounted, but haven't had a need to use it just yet. No obstructions so far.
