I'm trying to find an alternative to the stock CB1100 chrome tail lamp, while keeping the stock rear fender. Is there such an accessory available that bolts-on?
736cc,

There are hundreds of options available but most that have switched on the CB11 have gone with a Lucas style taillight that is smaller and sits flush to the fender instead of sticking up high like the stock unit. Nothing is a direct bolt on however as the stock lamp affixes at three attach points that are spaced way to far apart. The top point is 6 inches from the bottom two which also double as the license plate bracket attach points. Most aftermarket taillights also use three attach points that are about three inches apart. The photo below is my CB11 with a Lucas taillight that has an integral license plate bracket. I needed to drill two small holes and the bottom two stock holes are covered by the license plate. Cheers.

I'm looking to replace my stock tail light with one of the Lucas Types. Does anyone know what, if any, are the differences between the two below?

Thanks for helping me get the correct one.
Thanks for posting this again. I spent ages trying to find the link to buy that exact lucas type tail light Smile

Looks way better than stock in my humble view, Honda should take notice.

There was a thread about slightly smaller Alu blinkers too... I think this was it... http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread....tail+light
I think I'll keep the stock blinkers unless the smaller tail light makes them look out of place.
