It's not the color I'm after. It's the shape, and fill cap. Given enough time I'd probably end up going matte black with the new tank as well.
Neither that fill cap or the tanks shape match the rest of the bike. That flush cap is sport bike style. So buy a sport bike.

grAy is the American way. grEy is the English way.
I voted for the gray but I think painting your original tank that color will look the best.
