Hello had my Cb1100rs for just a month love it except comfort is just not there for me.Have taken my seat to be reshaped and covered the standard seat is at best painful and awful to keep clean.Next up and finally have to put some renthal mid height roadbars on hopefully cables will be ok.
You’re not the only one so don’t feel bad. Lots of members have done what you are doing. Plus some do peg adjustments, etc.

I’m pretty lucky in that all I had to do was rotate the bars up a tad, adjust the levers for my little hands, adjust the brake and shift levers a little and add an AirHawk seat cushion.
Thanks for your reply.
Yep. Standard seat causes me discomfort in less than 20 minutes (pressure on perineum), and the discomfort from a 20 minute run lasted an hour after I got off. Currently looking into seat options as the bike is, for me, unrideable for me in the stock configuration. FWIW, I'll likely pick up an airhawk or similar as a stop-gap.
Yep, not the only one, a Corbin with half an inch extra padding added and some sw motek adapters that moved the bars back and up an inch did the trick for me, comfort is everything.
No cable issues. I look forward to getting on it now. Good luck.
Still waiting for return of my seat rebuild.Found a real quality company close by.As for the bars am going to try silver renthal mid height items to keep it discreet anyone tried these?Footpegs will leave till the end as perhaps need to research a little more.
