Pamela has been unhappy with the stock seat on her CB, especially compared to the V-strom seat which she found quite comfortable. We drove to Jacksonville last week and dropped off the old seat at Sargent http://www.sargentcycle.com/ for some much needed mods and here's the result, much better support and looks fabulous.

Very schmick.
Wow, that's really striking, and looks comfy too!
That DOES look fabulous!
VERY NICE!! I couldn’t be happier with mine.
What specific changes did you request?

The rider seat area was brought forward about an inch and a "pocket" formed, wider than stock but kept narrow at front for good ground reach. Foam in the rider seat was replaced with Sargent's "Atomic Foam" and seat was covered with a textured vinyl with red welting. $352 with tax.

Do you get better ground reach with that narrowing at the front?

Have you kept original seat height or is it also a bit lower than stock?

thanks!
I had a Sargent seat on the Hawk GT that I just sold. The craftsmanship and the materials used both rated pretty highly with me.
