Folks,

I'm using a Road Comet II fairing. Love the look of it, but after a day of riding the wind blast & noise really tires me out. I can feel the blast hitting me around the neck area, and it forces air up into the helmet. Makes for a noisy day.

Has anyone tried one of these windshield clip-on visors/diffusers on a Road Comet II? Wondering if they are effective. The reviews of the Puig clip-on visor (pic below) seem very good.

Thanks!
If it ends up forcing the air into your face shield, you will experience lots of flag flapping noise and head bobble (buffeting).

In my experience you either want the wind hitting you in the collar bone or going over your head. Anything in between will be miserable.

I have no experience with the gizmo you have pictured, but I don't believe that on top of a road comet will be enough to get the wind blast over your head

(+1) Met a rider yesterday with a similar set-up. He did not sound convincing either. In fact, the set-up generally looked sloppy and/or unreliable.
My BIL added a short clip-on to the WS on his Beemer and loves it. Of course, the Beemer WS is taller than most.
I think for some windshields these visor type things may work well. But I don't think it'll work for the Road Comet. The windshield on the RC itself is quite flimsy, and I don't think it could firmly support one of these clip-ons, especially at highway speed.
I have thought about trying one but I talked myself out of it. When I saw the title I hoped someone had tried one.
