I am finding quickly that the seat on my 2013 standard is not very comfortable to my 54 yr old bottom!

Is the DLX seat any more comfortable? I am not interested in form over function I tend toward a café style or at least retro, don't care for the look of the BIG cruiser looking seats.

Any ideas

Difficult to say. Some with DLX's also complain about the seat and use AirHawks to provide some comfort. I have no issue with it.

for my bottom yes the DLX is much more confi.....i made onetime too testride with the standard

Seats are a very unique personal preference. I have had two different 2013 CB1100’s. The first, I never had any issue with the seat. The second, I couldn’t last much longer than 40 minutes before I just wanted to get up and walk around. There has been a lot of back and forth on which seat is better. Neither Standard or DLX is made differently other than the top stitching.
Only advice I can give, if it’s not working and you get another seat, go all in for what’s comfortable.
