2017 CB1100EX. Has anyone fitted the Corbin Gunfighter & Lady seat with the Hepco & Becker luggage rack. I am concerned about the width of the seat about 5 inches from the back. Will it fit between the H & B rack tubes.
I have tried several times to get info from Corbin without success & I have looked at dozens of pictures to try to get an answer. Among those pictures is a view of the underside of the seat. I was hoping to scale this picture against the Honda seat, but the image is of such a low resolution (pixelated) that it is useless.

if anyone has the Corbin seat a good photo of the underside could help me determine the fit.

Thanks in anticipation...

Marcus
G'day Marcus. Welcome to the forum.

Based on past performance, I'll be proven wrong, but I think one of our members—Houtman—has fitted Corbin seats on a 2013, 2014 and 2017 CB1100. He doesn't have the H&B luggage though.

I can email you a picture of the underside of the Corbin seat , just send me your email address . Mine is houtman123@bellsouth.net

PB, you just can’t add an attachment that way.
I did get an email from Marcus and send him the pictures of the Corbin seat.
Hello Marcus and welcome to the Forum. When not elsewhere, you will be here.
I would like to give a big thank you to John Houtman for his help. Initially he emailed me some pictures of the underside of the Corbin seat but this, because of the perspective distortion, didn't really help.
He then sent to me by snail mail a tracing of the outline of the base of the Corbin seat on a large sheet of paper.

This provided the answer, namely that base of the Corbin seat has the same profile as the original seat. If you think about it that is a sensible approach by Corbin because if they follow that principle then their seats should always fit.

So problem solved... The Corbin seat will fit with the Hepco & Becker luggage.

Thanks John.
Good on you, Houtman.
