For this plane of existence, it is difficult to imagine the relationship of things without a time metric. However, take a lifecycle of a star: As it's internal reactions exhaust itself, it endures many states until dwarf, or if massive enough, possibly what we term as a black hole. Nevertheless, the state changes occur without the concept of time, but rather, the change of energy.

Yes - arguably, this could be more important than the concept of time Chuck. How we perceive ourselves in this space may hold more value than anything else, including time. After all, we are all states of energy and energy (not to be confused with power) is detached from time. That is, if you feel younger, how great is that compared to feeling older? Obviously profound! That said, I am sure there is no doubt we can all go faster on our rides and feel the essence of youth.

Indeed, our vessels do endure damage and rot. Their energies change and leave, but are not gone, ... just elsewhere.

I am told the pain is not real. I am still trying to grapple with that concept. The idea that you continue to surf the plane of this existence on the CB demonstrates - in some respect - that you deny pain and recreate your own sort of "zen".

I've added data centers to almost every dash I've ever sat down in front of; boats, bikes, cars.
My last boat had only one systems gauge, engine temp, and some idiot lights. I added a voltmeter and engine oil pressure. Bought some faux Stewart Warner gauges, made two housings out of PVC end caps, wired them up and mounted them under the radar screen. Worked great. A previous bike had a gear indicator but the display was so tiny it was very hard to read. I stuck a thin sheet of magnifier plastic over it, improved it somewhat. I added a set of under dash gauges to an old El Camino I used to have. I am one of the few guys I know who still wears an analog watch.
