Got a great deal on a almost-never used Tiros K-style seat. It's a bit taller, wider and flatter than stock. I'm hoping it allows me to ride with a little less knee bend and changed the butt-to-seat contact points a little.
I'm not entirely sure of the pedigree of this seat. Calcb sold me the seat and was absolutely wonderful to deal with. I think he told me that he got an extra seat with a bike that he purchased that once belonged to Papa Weeley. In any case, I'm looking forward to trying it out on the moto-vacation we have planned for next week.

Looks promising. Good luck MTC - hope it adds the value you seek.
Cool. Hope you like it.
Where is the crew headed this year?

Our crew is only four this go 'round (Glen, Laura, Cheryl and me). Mike and Jennifer (who you haven't met) used up their vacation days riding BMWs in Africa with Glen and Laura. Bump-start Mike and Judy couldn't commit to the trip due to shoulder and/or knee surgery for Mike.
The four of us will be exploring southwest Wisconsin and the Great River Road a little bit into Minnesota. It's only a 5 day ride this time and Glen/Laura set everything up. I'm not 100% sure where we are going, but I believe that this will be a series of relatively short (200 miles or less) day rides, perhaps from as few as two different starting/stopping points. I think we're spending two nights in a B&B that is also a brewery and pub. I don't know much about it, but I'm imagining something along the lines of the places about which Cormanus writes so eloquently.
Neat. Watch out for the roos and say hi to Glen and Laura for me.
Absolutely. Still working on a weekend to come down to see you this fall.
Nice. We are running similar seats now. I like the taller seat as well as it helps with knee bend, plus I find it more comfortable. I like mine, good luck with it.
Nice looking seat MTC. I wish my legs weren't so short.
Going to look into having "Honda" stenciled on the back of the seat.
