I think I may have to revisit this thread and a few others in a few years. I'd be interested in a suspension upgrade, but every alternative is pretty pricey. The cheapskate in me says I have to ride with the current suspension for at least 20,000 miles.

I just purchased the Andreani kit sourced by Ebay without researching anything here and I thought they were just a drop in job and now I find out that some grinding is required Impulsive buying at its best due to sitting home under isolation / shut down I guess. I think I can handle the job

Quick question, other than having to replace new fork seals are there any other OEM parts such as washers, rings that also need to be replaced? With other bikes, I know the tiny crush washer for the long fork bottom Allen drain bolt is a one time use only part.
