did someone here changed the exhaust of their 2017 and > without a powercommander?
I’m not sure how it all works together with the decat and bigger headers.
The reasons I would do it is aestetics, weight, sound and not the most important is some power.
If we need an extra powercommander it’s an expensive modification.

The only thing I would do to this bike without adding a power commander is a slip on muffler. I wouldn’t remove the cat or intake mods. Even with a slip on or just stock- the power commander will make the bike run better.

There are 2 versions available
https://www.arrow.it/en/assembled/1525/H...-2017-2020
https://www.arrow.it/en/assembled/1524/H...-2014-2016
The first is 1300€, the second is 1000€, headers are the same, the only difference i see is that the first has a connection for oxigensensor.
I’m not really a big light on all mechanics/electronics, but I was wondering if I buy the second one (without sensor) , but I add a powercommander , the engine could be better running then having only the first system.
As far as I know it is for environmental reasons this sensor, for a euro4 classification.
Can someone advise me on this one?

Those are showing for 2 different years/models of the bikes- the rear 'steps' are different so the mounting points might not be the same.

Hi, what about using a Booster Plug instead of the Power Commander. It has a big following lately without the big sticker price. I have one I am going to install on my Z900RS. I have read several posts on how it smooths out this bike after a complete exhaust change with a K&N air filter. I will post how it works on the Kawasaki when I get it done. I am going to change out the complete exhaust on my 2013 CB with a complete Delkevic headers with their 14 inch round muffler. I know I need to do something, just have not decided which way to go.
Mine changed both full system exhaust and k&N air filter (mostly for sound tune and aesthetic), but still retained stock ECU. Not sure if anything had gone wrong but she seems to run fine. Power wise, according to my butt-o-meter, not much change on the bottom rev, but high rev slightly easier to reach. If I am right, if stock bike come with an O2 sensors, fitting after market exhaust without one will require additional mod else the check engine light will light up.
I recently installed a Moriwaki 4-1 and was honestly expecting the CEL to come on, still hasn't as of yet 50 miles later.
I understand it may still come on at any time, at which point I'll just reset it for the time being. Until I can get am ECU flash/PCV
Just put a full Arrow exhaust on my 17' RS with the PC V,incredible results, sound amazing and a lot of torque and power increase...
Big gain also on weight...
