You'll probably never have to change the oil in your CB1100 either. You could try that and then heard south for a look at the Blue Ridge Parkway. I've seen a bit at the southern end and it was lovely. Here's a couple of pictures to whet your appetite.

I ride The Pace in the twisty parts. Stay in 3rd and use engine braking for slowing and rarely touch the brakes and upshift to 4th only occasionally, then back to 3rd.
i do wonder about that guhl flash from time to time....now that i have a 2nd machine and can afford to pull my ECU for a couple weeks without it ruining my life.

I try and ride smoothly and pick good lines so I don't have to speed up, slow down, brake or shift much. Wink
Here is my favorite sign on the Parkway. It's near the northern end in Virginia, and it almost made me crash due to laughter.
I love the blueridge parkway. Only drive it once, and in one of my cars, but it was fantastic.

Is that sign above real? Looks too silly to be..
I am lucky to live only 6 miles from the BRP , or perhaps it was by design ?

Its real and they sell a T shirt with that symbol on it too. It was for a decreasing radius turn iirc. Notice the following sign in the distance
