Hello, New CB1100 owner here. I need to change the ergos on my bike and was wondering if the seat/seat pans from any year and model are interchangeable? I was thinking I might acquire a used seat/seat pan and have it modified for extra height. I noticed that KandH says that their Hi Seat does not fit the Deluxe/EX, so I'm guessing that a seat from a Deluxe might not fit my 2013... Does anyone know which models are compatible with my 2013? Thanks in advance!

If you search around on the board you can find that most, but not all, year seats interchange easily. The 13 and 14 and 14dlx interchange mostly. Here is a thread on it:

popgun, thank you for the link. It is very interesting, in that not all of the seats on the 14 are interchangeable! Or not without brackets so they fit correctly. If I find some extra time, I'll try to find the parts list for each year and check part numbers. If I do, I'll post that data.

The 2013 A AC share the same seat ass'y with the 2014 AC, but not the SA. Logic would suggest that a 2014 Deluxe would fit on a 2013 with bracket changes as on the 2014 AC as the 2013 A AC and 2014 AC use the same seat, but...
These left & right seat stays on the 2014 Deluxe that do not exist on the 2014 AC:
- STAY, R. GARNISH 50168-MGC-N20
- STAY, L. GARNISH 50169-MGC-N20
the grab bars are also different #'s, but that may be finish only. The gas tanks are also different between the 2013 & 2014...
