any idea where to buy a discreet and beautiful passenger backrest? I don't want to pack a suitcase .. it's a sin.

Are you looking for one that attaches to the back of the seat, like Corbin, or one that attaches to the grab rail bolts?

Someone on the forum did an adaptation of a Honda Shadow sissy bar and back rest.

Update: Check out the video in [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=16230]this thread about the new Honda Rebel 1100. It has a very small backrest which may well be OEM and adaptable.
