Wyvern 4-into-4. No center stand. Sad

Good news is that we had sunshine this morning, so in spite of the cold I rugged up and used the bike to commute. Speedo works perfectly!!

Well spotted. I saw that yesterday and wondered the same. Figure I should get the voltmeter out later and check it out...
This little sucker?
I wonder what it’s powering? Odometer memory?
Although it looked like a battery in the other pic, this closeup makes it look like something else. Quite what though, I haven't a clue. It looks as though it has a central terminal?? Searching "BCZV" under "Electronics" yields nothing.
I think it may be a button capacitor.

Maybe a sort of "super cap"?

The terminal looks somewhat hardy.
I can confirm that it is not a battery, there was no residual voltage on the board.
Yes, GO, a button type supercap.
After all this write up and based on pics Nine needs a new bike Tongue

Nine's got a new bike.

What I need now is a new project...

Sounds like a great name for a model of motorcycle. Smile
