Yes , for the 2017 model the manual is not user friendly.

I've contacted two Honda dealers, and they told me there is not physical service manual for new Hondas no more.
It seems to be all digital, with special service access. Only not LED versions of CB1100 are available in a PDF of a physical book version.

I'm in the UK and just had the manual delivered from http://www.service-shop-repair-manual.com. It only took seven days to get here and it cost a total of $80 about
£65.00 including postage. Not bad considering others want $220 just for postage !

Genuine OEM Honda manuals have a glued/bound spine and binder holes.

If the binder holes are not drilled/punched, then it is a bootleg copy printed from the CD version...ask me how I know that

Of course!...I just made the last payment this week!

I plan to keep it well into my retirement, providing that I can still keep 850 lbs upright!
When I can no longer do that, I'll consider trading it for a Vette!
